    When should I replace the blade of my Philips OneBlade?

    You can find out when the blade of your Philips OneBlade needs to be replaced by checking the appearance of the blade itself, or by adding your device to the Daily Care app.

    Check the app for the most accurate information

    How quickly your blade wears out depends on how often you use your OneBlade and how long you spend shaving and trimming. For the most accurate information regarding when to replace your blade, download the Daily Care app and add your device to your profile.

    Using your usage history, the app can accurately predict when your blade needs to be replaced, so you’re always guaranteed to get the best possible results from your OneBlade. When it’s time to replace your blade, you’ll receive a notification on your mobile device.

    Replacement indicator

    The pattern on the blade of your OneBlade will change over time to let you know when it’s time to replace it. When an arrow symbol has appeared on the blade, it’s time to replace it. For older blades, the blade will turn green over time instead of showing the arrow symbol.

    Please note that, because the replacement indicator is based on the physical wear that occurs when the blade is in contact with your skin, using attachments such as a comb can prevent the indicator from working correctly. For that reason, we recommend replacing your blade at least once every four months.
