    Why is the remote response sluggish on my new Philips Android TV?

    You may experience slower than normal remote response right after initial setup. This is normal and will only last a short time. Your television is connecting to the internet and updating all installed applications to the latest versions. Since this is the first time your TV has connected to the internet, there may be updates for most, if not all of the applications, which are downloading and installing in the background. Once all of the application updates have completed, your television will respond to the remote normally.
