No two babies feed alike. The different nipples in each range let your baby drink at their preferred pace so you can find one that best suits your baby. Our new Natural Response Nipples release milk only when your baby actively drinks while our Anti-Colic nipples are free flowing. Age indication can be a helpful guidance, but always follow your baby's cues. Start with the nipple that comes with the bottle.

Natural Response nipple

Our new Natural Response nipple is designed to mimic the way your baby naturally drinks at the breast. To find the right flow, watch your little one's drinking pattern. Start with the nipple that comes with the bottle, using their cues to move to a higher or lower nipple flow.

Baby cues

Baby cues

It can take a few tries for your baby to get used to the new nipple flow, especially if they’re used to a traditional nipple where they don’t control the flow of milk. In this case, have a higher flow rate on-hand because they are used to milk coming out quickly without much effort.

You need a higher flow rate if you see your baby struggling to get milk out, or playing with the nipple. On the other hand, if you notice milk leaking from your baby’s mouth, or fast gulps, it's a sign they need a lower flow rate.

From old to new

If your baby is already used to the previous Natural nipple, or even another traditional bottle, we suggest to go directly to a higher numbered nipple from the new Natural Response range. See our chart for guidance when transitioning from our previous Natural Nipples that are free-flowing, to our New Natural Response Nipples with active drinking.

Anti-colic nipples

Anti-colic nipple

Anti-colic with AirFree vent bottles are designed to reduce feeding issues: such as colic, gas, and reflux. The unique AirFree vent is designed to draw air away from the nipple keeping it full of milk to avoid air ingestion. This vent also keeps the nipple full of milk even when the bottle is held horizontal, allowing for upright feeding. Feeding in an upright position can help to reduce reflux and aid in digestion. The nipple shape is designed for a secure latch for a comfortable feed.
