By 2030, one of every four Americans will be over age 60, and 90% of those over age 65 will have one or more chronic conditions. As we experience the largest growth in the aging population in U.S. history, it is clear that not one organization can solve this challenge alone. That’s why Philips is collaborating with industry and issue experts, including leaders with a common interest in aging well, to create the AgingWell Hub (AWH) – a unique new collaborative research and development initiative for open innovation that will examine and share solutions for aging well.

Fifteen years from today, there will be twice as many older Americans – those age 65 and older – as there were in 2000. Understanding that many prefer to live fully independent lives, and aspire to age in place, Philips is partnering with experts and decision-makers in the healthcare and aging arena to host its “Aging Well Expert Series” that examines the challenges, opportunities and necessary steps associated with aging in place.

What does sleep 'power' for you?
What does sleep power in your life? For some people, sleep powers physical activities like biking or running. For others, sleep powers work performance and critical thinking.
Sleep is a contributing factor to everyone’s health and it transcends geographic, cultural and socioeconomic boundaries. For World Sleep Day 2015, Philips is committed to increasing the awareness of sleep as a powerful engine for all of our daily activities.
How are you sleeping?

Inspired by nature’s sunrise the Philips Wake-up Light uses a unique combination of light and sound to wake you in a more natural way. It helps you to feel more refreshed, so that it is easier to get out of bed.
