There are two ways of connecting component video inputs:
- Via CVI-1 input
- Via PC-VGA/CVI-2 input
How to connect an HD receiver equipped with Component Video Outputs to my Philips TV?

Connection via CVI-1
- Use a component video cable (1); connect one end to the component ‘Y Pb Pr’ video out jacks from the HD receiver (or similar to the device) and the other end to the ‘CVI-1 Y Pb Pr’ jacks on the bottom of the TV.
- Connect the red and white audio cables (2) to the audio (left and right) output jacks on the rear of the HD receiver and to the ‘CVI-1 L R’ jacks on the bottom of the TV.
- Turn the TV and the HD receiver [ON].
- Press the [AV] button to access the [Source] list and press the cursor [Down] on the remote control to select CVI-1 [SD/HD] and press the cursor [Right] to activate the selected mode on the TV screen.
Connection via PC-VGA/CVI-2
Press the [AV] button to access the [Source] list and press the cursor [Down] on the remote control to select CVI-2 [SD/HD] and press the cursor [Right] to activate the selected mode on the TV screen.
