    How to connect an HD receiver equipped with Component Video Outputs to my Philips TV?

    There are two ways of connecting component video inputs:

    • Via CVI-1 input
    • Via PC-VGA/CVI-2 input

    Connection via CVI-1

    1. Use a component video cable (1); connect one end to the component ‘Y Pb Pr’ video out jacks from the HD receiver (or similar to the device) and the other end to the ‘CVI-1 Y Pb Pr’ jacks on the bottom of the TV.
    2. Connect the red and white audio cables (2) to the audio (left and right) output jacks on the rear of the HD receiver and to the ‘CVI-1 L R’ jacks on the bottom of the TV.
    3. Turn the TV and the HD receiver [ON].
    4. Press the [AV] button to access the [Source] list and press the cursor [Down] on the remote control to select CVI-1 [SD/HD] and press the cursor [Right] to activate the selected mode on the TV screen.

    Connection via PC-VGA/CVI-2

    Press the [AV] button to access the [Source] list and press the cursor [Down] on the remote control to select CVI-2 [SD/HD] and press the cursor [Right] to activate the selected mode on the TV screen.
