Why does my Philips Android TV not recognize my USB Memory Stick?

The Android operating system on this television supports USB memory sticks that are formatted using FAT32. If you have formatted your USB stick using any other method, it will not work. Please try formatting a USB stick using FAT32 to either add application memory to this TV, to use for pausing live TV, or to play media files using one of the media players available through the Google Play Store (i.e. VLC or MX Player).
